Penilican Pictures, LLC is owned and managed by David Vargas. David began his career in the entertainment industry by working in the Production Department at Universal Studios. His experience ranges from working on Professional Movie Sets (Burn Notice, Ace Ventura 3, Beethoven’s Big Break), Live Television (Ellen Show, Blue Man Group, Disney Channel), and as an editor for HBO Latin America.

David brings true creativity to Penilican Pictures, LLC because of both his experience and fresh mind.

“What is a Penilican?”

True Production consists of 3 steps: Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production. A pencil is also made up 3 sections: the wood, the eraser, and the shiny little metal part that unites the whole device. By definition this tiny metal clamp is known as a “Ferrule,” but we call it the PENILICAN.

Ferrule seems like such an insignificant name for such a significant tool. As a production company we strive to hold the same value and significance the Penilican does.

PENCIL: We believe in all of our projects to be original and completely “outside the box.” First we must start with writing down and creating our ideas through Pre-Production and Production.

ERASER: Once we create that original idea, we must treat it to perfection through Post Production.

PENILICAN: We seamlessly unite all of these methods of production to give our clients the most original and professional product possible.
